Alice Hayes

Hi, I’m Alice!

I grew up exploring the great outdoors with my childhood friend Miles, camping in the beautiful Oklahoma hills. After a few years away from nature, I found my way back during a camping trip to Robber’s Cave. That moment of rediscovery lit up a new passion for sharing my journey and helping others connect with nature. Now, I’m proud to be contributing to GlampingorCamping.com, where I can share my experiences and offer advice to help others find peace, adventure, and healing through camping.

About

The Brothers Who Started It All

Meet Hudson and Zoe, two brothers from Oklahoma who turned their lifelong love for camping into a mission to help others experience the great outdoors. Growing up, they spent countless weekends trekking through forests, fishing by rivers, and sleeping under the stars. It wasn’t long before they decided to share that passion with the world, and thus, GlampingorCamping.com was born. Their goal? To inspire others to leave their comfort zones and find peace and adventure in nature.

How I Came Into the Picture (And Took Over!)
Hey, I am Alice! Being Zoe’s childhood friend, he always trusted me a lot. We would always spend hours away from home camping. I was living my life, caught up in the hustle and bustle, until one fateful weekend at Robber’s Cave changed everything. It was a trip with Zoe that reignited my love for the outdoors, and in that moment, I realized something important: camping wasn’t just about tents and trails, it was about healing, growth, and rediscovery.

Zoe knew right away that I was the missing piece.

One evening, over a campfire, he turned to me with a serious look.

“I’ve been thinking, Em. GlampingorCamping.com is missing something… you. Your story, your connection with nature—it’s exactly what we need.”

But I don’t think I’m ready to take on the entire site. “I’ve been away for so long, Zoe. I’m not sure I can handle the pressure.”

Zoe smiled, squeezing her hand. “You’ve been through a lot, and that’s exactly why you’re the perfect person to lead. You have the voice that connects with people. You’ve always had that.”

After a moment of thought, I looked at him, my heart lighter. “Alright. Let’s do this.”

Zoe grinned. “I knew you’d say yes. Welcome to the next chapter, Em. Let’s make it something special.”

And just like that, I took the reins, ready to turn GlampingorCamping.com into a place where people could find peace, adventure, and connection with nature once again.
